Why Working Out Changed My Life
A Personal Journey to Physical and Mental Transformation
Recently, I struggled with low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I felt stuck in a rut, unable to break free from negative thoughts and behaviors that were holding me back. But everything changed when I started working out. Here’s my story and the impact that exercise has had on my life.
According to a study by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, regular exercise has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by up to 50%. It works by releasing endorphins, the “feel-good” chemicals in the brain, and reducing levels of stress hormones like cortisol.
I started my fitness journey with just a few simple exercises, but as I continued to work out, I noticed a marked improvement in my mental and physical health. My self-esteem improved, and I felt more confident and optimistic about life. I also had more energy and felt better physically, which made me feel even more motivated to keep going.
In addition to improving my mental health, working out also helped me improve my physical health.
